RESULTS TO DATE: We've coordinated and distributed nearly 250,000 pieces of Donated Protective Equipment and more than 30,000 Purchased and Sourced Respirator Masks to U.S. healthcare facilities (as of May 21, 2020).
Responding to the national COVID-19 emergency, SONSIEL and the GLO Good Foundation implemented the SHARE program to help rapidly protect frontline healthcare workers with urgently needed personal protective equipment (PPE). In mere weeks, the partners have facilitated and coordinated the movement and direct delivery of nearly 250,000 units of PPE between private and corporate donors to staff at hospitals in over a dozen hard-hit states. Incoming pleas for PPE have skyrocketed.
As donations of existing PPE inventory have been exhausted, SONSIEL and the GLO Good Foundation have organized this Charity GoFundMe campaign to allow for tax-exempt PPE procurement using already-proven partner know-how, networks, and expertise.
Patrons wishing to support the continued movement of PPE to hard-hit healthcare facilities may donate directly to the charity campaign as well as make retail purchases of Patrol Shack choice coffee, Gladiator Wine artisinal Italian wine, Crush® Wines hand-selected wine, and Rob McAllan shoes, with a portion of proceeds applied the campaign.
To date, charity contributions to this campaign have supported direct order of more than 30,000 respirator masks from reliable vendors for delivery to additional frontline facilities in hard-hit states, including NY, NJ, MI, and MA. With each new contribution, more PPE is ordered. More than two dozen facilities have been helped. Over 300 facilities around the country remain on our list of urgent need.
Why give to our campaign? This Charity GoFundMe campaign is able to scale PPE procurement and delivery in a manner very few are able, with tax-exempt status to donors. Time is of the essence. Together we can do so much more. Our frontlines need us. Urgently. Still. Please give generously to this campaign.
